Bachmann produced this Big Hauler electric train set in G scale. Set number xxxx1 is used, in the original box; and it includes 4 train cars, 14 pieces of track and transformer.
The track creates a 63? by 51? oval. The 12 pieces of curve track and 2 pieces of straight track give a total of 14 running feet of track. The track is in G scale and measures 1 ¾? between rails.
The engine is 18? long, 4 ¾? wide and 6 ¾? high. The box indicates it is a ?4-6-0 Steam Engine with electronic steam sound, realistic smoke and operating headlight.? As shown in the photos, the front opens to give access to a switch.
The coal car is 12 ½? long, 4 ½? wide and 5 ¾? high. The yellow gondola car is 15 ½? long, 4 ¼? wide and 4 ¼? high. The caboose is 9 ½? long, 4 ¼? wide and 7? high.
